Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6,7
St Lukes is a church for everyone – a family friendly community for all ages, with a heart to reach out to those in any kind of need, and those seeking a deeper relationship with the Lord.
St Lukes is a family friendly evangelical church. We love the bible and all it teaches us about God’s plan for our lives. We believe that God has given each of us gifts and talents, and that together we make up the Body of Christ. We are being shaped by God’s love, and we want to give that love away.

We have a very good working relationship with our school, Queens Park CE/URC Primary School. The clergy team are involved in school life on an almost weekly basis, from doing whole school assemblies, to helping out with particular topics or subjects in class. The church also have representation on the school board of governors.

We are continuing to maintain in person gatherings in church and online gatherings as well.
Our purpose as Christians is to worship God wherever we are, to be wherever other people are, to bring them to Jesus and to help them to grow.
Joining our church was like coming home, we have made lots of friends. We have gone through some difficult times health wise, but knowing we are prayed for has made a massive difference. Deep friendship has grown with church members and life is far richer for having them around us. God is good!
I certainly feel part of the church and I have many friends here who I can turn to if needed.
