Great for Families

Our Teddies Group is a great way to have fun and share faith together for people with young families.

St Lukes Family Events

In the past year (before COVID-19) we held a variety of family focused events at St Lukes. These have included a Superhero Party, Messy Easter, an eco-event in the summer holidays, Messy Advent and a Christmas film night. We also hold a Christmas Crib Service which is well attended. Our family events involve food and refreshments, crafts, laughter, great big smiles and most importantly the children learn a little more about God. Due to the restrictions, we have not been able to hold events this year. However, we are planning for future events, and you can check back for future updates. Or better still, why don’t you sign up to our newsletter and the latest information will arrive in your inbox.

Teddies Group

Teddies is our fantastic pre-school group, offering a warm welcome and a safe space for play. During our time together we include a bible story, a craft and an opportunity to use our prayer parachute. Fruit and water are provided for the little ones, tea and biscuits for the big ones!

The group is currently keeping in touch via WhatsApp. Click here to send us a message to get added to the group.

Links With School

We have great relationships with our local school, Queens Park CE/URC Primary School.

The clergy team are involved in school life on an almost weekly basis, from delivering whole school assemblies to helping out with particular topics or subjects in class.

St Lukes also has representation on the school board of governors.

We are extremely proud and value our strong relationship we have with St Lukes Church. Clergy regularly lead collective worship in school and our children love to see Rev Helen and Rev Gregor on a weekly basis. Their presence in school has a strong guiding influence on our school’s Christian vision and values. St Lukes wider community also play a crucial part at our school. Their generosity has and continues to support our children and families. As a school, we know St Lukes and their congregation always have Queen’s Park in their prayers and likewise, as a school, we keep St Lukes in ours.
